Gone but not forgotten The “Giullari di Syracuse” charmed SUF students, faculty, staff—and neighbors peeking from their palazzo windows—as they performed Romeo and Julietta as part of the Spring 2010 student celebration. Students performed after participating in the theater workshop during the semester, directed by SUF Professor Eric Nicholson.  The workshop and production are also linked to Professor Nicholson's academic course "Laughter and Passion: Italian and European Drama, 1500-1700."

Welcome to Syracuse University in Florence (SUF), where study abroad is brought to the highest levels of academic achievement and cultural engagement through a mixture of tradition and innovation.

The SUF faculty are internationally renowned scholars, and our staff is truly dedicated to meeting the needs of today’s students and helping them immerse themselves in the Italian culture.
