Meyer Children’s Hospital Collaboration, Fall 2004 and Spring 2005

In collaboration with the Meyer Children’s Hospital, SUF interns went to the ludoteca (patient daycare center) and worked with patients as young as three years of age, up to adolescence, on the construction of paper maché monsters and many other activities such as drawing, painting, and storybook reading.

The evening gala in benefit of the Meyer Children’s Hospital was a sold out performance, attended by almost 400 people. Almost fifty visitors came from New York, including trustees, Friends of DIPA members, the VPA dean Carole Brzozowski and the then-Vice Chancellor and Provost Deborah Freund.
