Beginning Photography (APH 200.1)

This course is designed for students with no previous experience in photography. The class begins with an overview of traditional cameras, lenses,settings, exposure for a smooth transition to JPEG, TIFF, importing, storing and printing. Photoshop Software will be used as an "editing" digital dark-room, enphasizing on cropping, contrast, curves and levels, color adjustment, scanning and printing. The structure of the visual parts is design basics, playing with light, perspective, frame, and shape.
