Santa Maria Nuova-Public Emergency Hospital:
The nearest public emergency hospital to the Syracuse University in Florence campus is Santa Maria Nuova. Usually there is an English-speaking physician on duty.

Villa Donatello-Private Clinic and Laboratory:
Villa Donatello is a private hospital and laboratory in Piazza Donatello (5 minute walk from the Villa Rossa). The clinic does not admit emergencies, and lab tests must have a request
from a doctor. Dr. Deleonardis can refer you to the appropriate specialist at the clinic, as well as prescribe lab tests.
