Study abroad Florence Medical Services

During the fall and spring semesters, SUF employs an English-speaking doctor who visits the campus twice a week. Students can make an appointment with Dr. De Leonardis in the Student Life Office. The visit is a service provided by the university and is, therefore, free of charge.

“Many years ago, Syracuse University in Florence was one of the few programs that had the insight to include a school physician as one of its many services to students; thus began my experience at the SUF. It has been an immensely satisfying experience... SUF students are wonderful and their health is very important to me.”
