Welcome back to Syracuse University in Florence!

SUF is in a constant state of change and innovation, yet has remained the same ever since you studied here. As we engage in new venues of community outreach and seek new ways of highlighting the academic and cultural achievements through a series of publications and organization of special events, our basic mission remains the same: to allow students to immerse themselves culturally and academically into a different culture, where the ultimate discovery is another self.

SUF has changed its physical appearance, enlarging and beautifying its campus, but the Villa Rossa remains the heart of its existence.

Faculty and staff have changed as well, yet academic and professional qualifications are still the signature element of SUF.

In a globalized world, SUF has started a series of cultural and academic events to engage the local community, but the essence of cultural exchange and mutual understanding still occurs in the housing of SUF students with host families.
