Biographical Profile
Amy holds a Master’s degree in Italian language and culture from Middlebury College, and a Master’s degree in counseling psychology from Seton Hall University. She is a certified mental health counselor in Italy. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Counseling Association, and the American College Counseling Association. Membership to European organizations include the Tuscan Counseling Association and the European Counseling Association.
Amy teaches in SU Florence’s summer program the course on “Italy and the Italians: A Cross Cultural Study.” She is the advisor for the Freshmen Discovery Florence Program and teacher of the “First Year Forum Class.”
Along with her position as Assistant Director for Student Health and Wellness, Amy is also the Human Resource liaison for SUF staff and faculty. As part of her HR position, she organizes and presents yearly staff development workshops for employees.
