Internship Program Coordinator
Prof. Debora Spini

SUF faculty member Prof. Debora Spini coordinates the SUF internship program.
She handles application and acceptance procedures, arranges interviews between the student and faculty supervisor and oversees internship placements with host organizations. Prof. Spini is available throughout the semester to meet with students and faculty supervisors should either have questions or concerns about an internship. Her office is located on the top floor of the Villino building.

Faculty Supervisor
The faculty supervisor is a member of the SUF faculty who oversees the internship from an academic point of view. He or she monitors the student’s progress throughout the semester, meets regularly with the student, evaluates the student’s final project and assigns a grade for the internship. The faculty supervisor must be notified immediately if the student has any questions or problems regarding the internship.

Site Supervisor
The site supervisor directs and monitors the student's work at the host organization. In agreement with the student and the faculty supervisor, he or she defines the project the student is to carry out on site and informs the faculty supervisor of the student’s progress throughout the semester. At the end of the semester, the site supervisor submits a written evaluation of the student’s performance, which is factored into the final grade for the internship.

Student Intern
The student intern is responsible for following all internship guidelines, assignments and deadlines closely. Before beginning an internship students will be asked to sign an agreement which states they have read and understood their obligations.
