Introduction to Florence

Florence is a city that lives fully in both its past and its present – a city where different time periods intermingle and overlap, creating a unique and very special place.
Walking down narrow roman streets which open onto large public squares filled with both modern and traditional stores, you will quickly gain a sense of the layering of centuries that characterizes this city of splendor.

The well-preserved and richly-documented patrimony of Florence makes it one of the best places to study the culture that was able to foster and support the talent of so many artists, poets, philosophers, statesmen and architects.
