Option II Program: Study at the Centro di Cultura per Stranieri

SUF’s Option II Program is a ten-week intensive language and culture program for students who are majoring in Italian or have studied at least four semesters of Italian. Courses are taught at the Centro di Cultura per Stranieri, a special department of the prestigious Universita’ degli Studi di Firenze that offers intensive Italian language courses for foreigners in an international, academic environment. Students can choose to combine Option II courses with Option I courses offered at the SUF campus and/or with Option III courses offered at the University of Florence. The Centro is conveniently located across the piazzafrom SUF’s campus.

All the students were from different countries, and the only language we had in common was Italian. Option II undoubtedly helped me to make the most of my experience in Italy.
