Wireless Network

Wireless is available in the Villa Rossa, the garden, the Villino, the Galleria and in the Architecture Studios.

Requirements

A USB port is necessary for the digital certificate installation.
Your PC or Macintosh must be equipped with a wireless adapter. Supported frequency standards are 802.11b (11mbps) and 802.11 g (54mbps).
For PC users: you must have Microsoft Windows XP (Service Pack 2 or 3) or Microsoft Windows Vista.
For Macintosh users: you must have Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
For Apple Iphone users: must be equipped with software version 2.1.

How to sign up for wireless
During Orientation week, you will be able to sign up for wireless access. You will need to bring your personal laptop to the assigned room. Please see your orientation schedule for times and location.

In order to speed up the wireless setup process and to avoid creating long lines during orientation, please note the following:

You will need to bring your personal laptop to the assigned room.
Your laptop should be turned on and logged in when it’s your turn with the wireless technician.
In general, if you have the following issues (software/hardware issues, special computer setup, a computer that needs to be updated/fixed, etc), please send an e-mail to wireless@soloreti.com to set up an individual appointment.
